Indexing and Impact Factor
JMIR Biomedical Engineering (JBME) has been publishing since 2016 and is indexed in PubMed Central and PubMed, DOAJ, Sherpa/Romeo, and EBSCO/EBSCO Essentials. The journal focuses on applied science, application of engineering principles, emerging technologies, medical devices used in medicine and biology, and applications of artificial intelligence for medical devices. As an open access journal, the journal is read by clinicians and patients. We publish original research, viewpoints, and reviews (both literature reviews and medical device/technology/app reviews). JBME articles are peer-reviewed, carefully copyedited and XML-tagged.
